Come and see the latest installation of paint-ing at the Clayden Gallery this new year. Kathy continues with her research into the model of expanding the field of what painting can be by assembling site-specific painted marks and asking the public to photograph their favourite bits to then use as final documentation of the event once it is taken down.

Every Saturday from 12 - 1.30pm, Kathy will be inviting people to come and make their own mark onto the installation with paint to add to the work. The focus may change every week, ranging from abstract expressuions to possibly enabling visitors to paint what is currently important to them….and so creating a piece of work that may become political, protest or a piece full of love. It will contain elements of what people are calling for to make life a little better perhaps.
