DepARTment residency, June 2023

An opportunity that explored sharing practise and ideas from the inside on a wall sized window, facing out to the buss top and busy road. A time of significant development in terms of paint as a sculptural form, window as the middle, the canvas, the link to outside and in, the within and out, the private and public. As well as developing cocreated painted language, painted expressions fed outside to encompas the bus stop itself…and silent understsnding smiles from me and people as the painting took hold.
